Today's Featured Biography

Tawny Austin Collins

Ok, Ok already. The few people who have made it to this web site have posted a bio so I guess I will get on board and do the same. :-) My first career was in accounting - for anyone who remember Mr. Anderson and Bookkeeping I and II. I took it as far as a 2 year degree before I discovered computers. I immediately realized how boring accounting was and switched to informaton technology and just completed my BS in IT in 2004! How is that for taking a long time to bloom? I married along the way, had a daughter who is now married to a great guy and they have 2 great kids. I still can't bring myself to say the G---ma word. :-) After years and years of being a single mom I married again and had a son, the caboose to our family. He just turned 18 yesterday! Gawd, the smell of freedom, ain't it sweet? We have 10 acres in Idaho where my husband spends his summers building our retirement home. The plan is to move there sometime in the next 3 to 5 years. In the meantime I work at Valley Medical Center as the Network Administrator. The older I get the more I miss high school and the good old days!
