Holly DeShazo Green
Hmm... Let's see... Six years is a long way back to think about! haha! After I graduated, I messed around in Wenatchee for a while. Worked at a few different jobs, moved out of my parents' house, did crazy things that people do when they're on their own for the first time and have no idea what the heck they're getting themselves into. Moved to Seattle for a VERY short time, proceeded to putz around Wenatchee a few more years. In '03, I joined the Army (I know, I know, put your chin back on your jaw) but got discharged because of injuries. But wait! There's a good part to this story! :) I met my husband while I was in Arizona training to go into military intel and we knew from our first date that we'd always be together. Ain't that just so sweet you want to be sick? He's still in the Army (doing the career thing, he says) as a dental assistant and supply monkey and we live in Stuttgart, Germany. This past year and a half here in Germany has been the experience of a lifetime! No, I don't speak German very well but the meaning gets across. We're here until 07 and not sure where we're going next. I try to think of it in the spirit of a Grand Adventure like my momma always taught me. haha! Army life is interesting, that's for dang sure. I miss the valley but usually a quick visit home cures me of it for a little while. We try to get the most out of everything while it's just the two of us and no kids (YET!). Since I've been here, I've been working as a daycare provider but that's coming to an end very soon. The little guy I take care of has seriously had me blissfully wrapped around his bitty little finger, though, and it's been wonderful. But it's time to get along, little doggy. (Not get a long, little doggy like a dachsund) What's that hokey hippie crap line say...? Looooord I was boooorn a ramblin' maaaan (or woman as the case may be)................
