Melinda Seibel Jacobson
Ok, I'll say it again...has it really been twenty fricking years?
I just love reading about what everyone is up to, so I suppose I have to add something about myself to share. I hope everyone else adds something more than just the basics (including you Sandy). There are so many questions I want to ask...but I also hope everyone is doing well, staying out of trouble, enjoying life, and loving it all.
Where to begin...we've been married for 11 years, we have a black lab, a golden retriever, a black cat, two boys who run me ragged, and three who watch over us. We moved to sunny Arizona nine years ago...and we're loving it so far. As long as you've got a swimming pool and air conditioning, summer's really not that bad here.
I've been working for the State...auditing environmental laboratories for five years part-time. And staying home playing with my boys the rest of the time.
Ethan loves bugs...that boy has a disqusting collection of scorpions...and he loves the pretty girls...he wants to marry Paris Hilton...I'm so proud of him. :) Aiden is my sweetie...it's amazing that someone who gets tormented so ruthlessly by his big brother can be so amazingly thoughtful...he's my little hero.
I'm also busy with my own company, "This Little Piggy", doing baby's hand and foot castings; inspired through my grief of losing Caleb. I'm currently doing castings at a funeral home for babies that have passed away, but I'm setting up with a local hospital to do castings of newborns. It's been so therapeutic to work on this project; the things you can do with a broken heart...
I've got some family pictures posted at http://picasaweb.google.com/arizonajacobsons; they're mostly of our little boy Caleb, but his big brothers are there too. And I'm looking pretty nasty, but you can't expect too much after giving birth. Luckily pregnancy isn't a permanant condition.
Anyway, I hope we can make it up to Yak in August...don't know yet...but I would love to catch up with everyone...twenty years is a long time...
