Today's Featured Biography
Ary Rubi
Since I got back to Honduras I finished College getting my degree as an Electrical Engineer. Right after college got married to Norma, who was also an exchange student in the States (Pittsburgh, PA) at the time I lived in Baraboo. Then I got my MBA at INCAE, a school founded by JFK and several Central American bussiness men which receives support from Harvard Bussiness School. Incae's degree is also recognized in the States and recently has been ranked as the best Bussiness School in Latin America.
Once out of school I started to work for Comercial Laeisz, a company that sells agricultural, construction, industrial and transportation equipment. I worked for them for nine years starting as a product manager, then as service manager and 6 years as sales manager. I received a good offer from a fuel distributor company and I switch jobs for about 3.5 years.
By the end of 2006 I received a call from Laeisz and went back to work for them as their Regional Manager for almost year and a half. I went back to work for the fuel company after that, due to an expassion of the comapany, as their Retail Manager for the Honduran market until last december. I was promoted and since jamuary I have a Regional position traveling within Central America, developing the Aviarion, Asphalt and Bunkering markets in the region..
I started to date my wife even before the AFS experience in the States, and continued dating after getting back home. She is a Dental Doctor Surgeon (DDS) who studied Periodonthics in Mexico. We have 3 beautiful boys.
