1967 Married Pat Blum of Janesville Class of 66
1968 Built house myself Janesville
1969 – 1969 - Rock County Buick Janesville, Wis.
Assistant Service Manager
1969 We moved to Davenport, IA for a Job with Dodge
This lasted 3 months before Chrysler Service and Dodge
Combined and they moved us to Ottawa, Ill.
1969 – 1973 - Chrysler Corporation Northlake, IL.
District Service Rep
Managed 29 dealers 4 states.
1973 April Friday 13th My wife and I separated.
I moved to Miami Florida and went to work for
American Motors Corp.
I lived in North Miami FL
1973 – 1976 - American Motors Stone Mountain, GA
Service Rep and Warranty Claims Control
Managed 38 dealers in Florida
1974 I bought the hull of a sailboat at
Summerfield Boat Works in Ft Lauderdale, FL
and stared work on it.
1975 I moved to Hollywood to be closer to the boat.
1976 AMC and I were done and I moved from the house
to the boat at Summerfield Boat Works in Ft Lauderdale
1976 – 1979 - Continental AMC JEEP Pompano Bch, FL

Managed the Service, Parts Department, Fleet department, & Body Shop
1978 – 1979 - Continental AMC JEEP opened Lauderdale Yamaha
I Managed the Service, Parts Department
1979 - Chuck the owner had a heart attack and I became
his boat captain driver and taught his son (14) how to fix cars.
1979 met Lydia my now wife and Married 4/2/1979 (Lydia is French)

Designed and installed the electrical system.
Developed and installed all the plumbing systems.
Assisted in Installing the driveline and engines.

Charlie sold the company to BlackFin Yachts
(I was the only person that knew how to build the boat.)

We bought the Palm Beach Boat company so I set up production of the 39
