Today's Featured Biography
David DeMars
Life is pretty simple here in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. My wife, Linda (She still works part time) and I are enjoying the freedom of my retirement. I still work a little writing stories for a local newspaper. I have given up the substitute teaching. It no longer is an enjoyable thing to do. Grandkids come and go, and for the most part, we are able to remain pretty active.
Summers are spent heading to our place on Upper Cullen Lake near Nisswa, MN. Lots of fishing, campfires, golf, and relaxation. Winters I spend blowing snow (when we have any), bowling, writing, playing cards, and making soup (my favorite comfort food). I also spend time in my woodshop - mostly I make sawdust - but occasionally I make some useful items as well.
We are fewer now than 50 years ago. And it's sad that some can no longer join us. I miss seeing their smiling faces and hearing their laughter. To those of you who still endure and thrive, I wish you health, wealth, happiness and long life. God bless you, one and all.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
