Two classmates have lost their mother
Carolyn and Jim Scherr lost their Mother on May 31. She was a dear sweet lady who often welcomed me to their Fisher Ridge home during our RHS days. The funeral will be on June 4th at Pleasan . . . Continued

Dean Fisher

I attended WV State College and graduated with a degree in Education in 1967. I taught at Ripley High School until 1976 when I became a counselor. I was then employed at the Roane Jackson Tech Center as a counselor. I retired in 1999. I presently work part time teaching a history class at WVUP Ripley Center. I also teach as a sub in Jackson County School system. My wife and I have taken a cruise each year for the past 3 years. We also spend time in North Carolina's coastal region each summer. We have 13 grand children and enjoy spending time with them.
