Doug Ware

OK, this is Doug's wife Chris (Armelino) Ware updating for Doug. He enjoyed looking at everyones photos & such, but wouldn't bother to do this if I didn't do it for him. We married in Fulton in 1978 & moved to Co. in 1989. We were sick of NY winters & humid summers. We do miss NY lakes & rain though. Co. is beautiful, but too dry. Our 2 sons are grown & also live in Co. Springs. No grandkids yet. Neither son is married.
Doug is parts manager for our school district. We also own a Postal Annex franchise, which I run.
For fun we love to vacation in warm places. Cruising was our favorite way to vacation until we recently bought a vacation/retirement home in Gun Barrel City, Tx. It is lakefront with our own boathouse. The next purchase is a boat to enjoy the lake & allow Doug to fish whenever he wants. We plan to retire in 5 years & then sell our Co. home & live in Tx full time.
