Well I will write this again since the last one didn't seem to work... After high school I went to work for Vons Grocery store. I started out in Newhall CA. at the store on Lyons Ave. as a courtesy clerk. I was promoted after about eight months to the Service Deli as a clerk. Then about a year later I was promoted to a manager and was transfered to the San Fernando Valley. During this time I met a man from Castaic and we were married in 1994. We lived in Chatsworth during our six years of marriage. I worked at various stores in the Valley, always being transfered to "clean up" other peoples messes..In 2000 my husband and I separated and our divorce was final in 2001. After the divorce I moved back to Piru to live with my mom. I was commuting to the Valley until I finally got my transfer to Port Huenume where I had met my current boyfriend. We have been together since 2000. I was then transferred to Ventura and was working at the Ventura Ave store for about three years until I decided that it was time for a career change. The strike effected working conditions and the grocery business never recovered really so after 15 years I have left Vons. During my time at that store I saw a few classmates that lived in the area... Lets see there was Sherri Hill, Elizabeth Rameriz, I saw Robert Molina there, Barbie Martin and a few others that I have forgotten... So I am looking to get a new start, which I never thought I would be doing at this age. 40 is only 2 years away .. I remember thinking at 30 that it was only 10 years away.. man does time fly. I don't have any children, only the four legged kind. A cocker spaniel, and 3 kittys. I still talk to Anna Duran via email and just recently heard from Gera Montelongo.
