Today's Featured Biography
Don Endicott
I've lived in San Diego since graduating from UCSB in 1972. Happily married to Marilyn for 28+ years with a son, Dave (23) and daughter, Nina (17). As of June 2008, I am in my 36th year as a civilian executive for the SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego, the U.S. Navy's principal research & development for Command and Control and Communications. For the past four years, I have served as head of the Communications and Information Systems Department, an organization that develops advanced network systems, satellite communications, wireless communications, and information assurance systems for the Navy, Departments of Defense, and national, state, and local civilian agencies. Our family spent 1993-1994 in Washington D.C. where I served as program manager for high performance networks at DARPA (birthplace of the Internet) and 1991-1992 in Boston for an MBA at MIT. Our son, Dave, graduated from Occidental College in May 2007. Daughter Nina is a senior at Mission Bay High School. Marilyn retired from her position as a mathematician at the Center when we went to Boston and holds our family together on the domestic front full time. Running, remote back country hiking, climbing, kayaking, and photography are still passions.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
