Today's Featured Biography
Wanda Tipton Haaland
I married my husband, Alan Haaland in 1972. We left the area when he joined the Air Force as a way of being able to pay for his flight training.
We were stationed in the Great Northwest, where I froze. I lost contact with everyone during those years. My son, Aaron, was born during that time. He is thirty five. Aaron lives in Orlando, owns his own business and is married to a Christen who is a teacher. They are the parents of my adorable granddaughter, Alison Blaire who is two years old. After returning to Florida I had my daughter, Chelsea, she is
30. She was attending Tulane to get her masters when Hurricane Katrina hit.
She has stayed in New Orleans and is a child counselor. Two years ago she moved to the Big Island of Hawaii to work.I consider myself to be one very blessed woman. My husband and I are enjoying our empty nest. Alan works for an International Flight School and I am an assistant to a broker and developer on the barrier island. Life is good.
Update... I am retired now, my granddaughter,Alison is five years old, and she has a little brother named Justice that was born June of 2015. I also have a beautiful havanese dog named Lola.
