Today's Featured Biography
Jodi Howard Moscardelli
Well, what to say. . . I hate doing these things, but I enjoy reading other people's profiles so I thought it only fair. After graduating I joined the Army (truth be told, I was afraid of the SAT, silly huh? LOL). I was pretty lucky in the Army. I was stationed in Germany and was able to visit Switzerland, France and of course most of Germany. I went to school (in the Army) for radio repair but wound up working as a Message Center Clerk / Secretary for my section because they didn't have the slightest clue how to run an office after serving in field units (thank you office occupations!). While in the Army, I married my first husband (in Denmark) and gave birth to my son (in Germany). Unfortunately, my first husband waited until after we were married to show his true colors (somehow I've always managed to be blind to people's bad sides). I was divorced shortly thereafter and returned home where because of my previous secretarial duties I was got a GREAT job at the IL AFL-CIO (this is an umbrella organization to all unions in IL), where I am currently employed. My job as secretary to the Training & Development Programs Director, gives me great satisfaction because we help individuals being laid off from the MANY mass layoffs and shutdowns by corporations in IL. We coordinate with state officials to bring both federal and state dollars to people for retraining and various community outreach projects. Having found satisfaction with my career, I decided it was time to remarry, but this time to a WONDERFUL man whom I know VERY well because he was my high-school sweetheart, Tony Moscardelli. He is now husband to me as well as daddy to both Alex and our daughter Liliana.
I have taken several classes here and there and miss being in the classroom, however I've decided that my time with my children is much too valuable to loose. To be close with them and their playmates, I keep busy with the PTO, teaching church Sunday school and playing host many sleepovers. So for now, I look forward to going back to college when they do, read about anything that sparks my interest whenever I can and delve into local politics now and then to show them that anyone can make a difference in their community.
I'm not too sure that I started off with the bang I had hoped for out of high school, but I am totally Happy with where I've finally landed, enjoying the comforts of a happy home.
P.S.
Those of you who knew me HAD to know Jennifer Conkrite and yes, we are still close, however, we both agree that children are important, (she has one, Andrew), which leaves little time for socializing. We try to have lunch now and then and have promised to catch up as the lil’ ones get older. I can remember high school without remembering her!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
