After graduating from UMass-Amherst with a degree in Journalism/English and Political Science I worked in Boston for a couple of years. I then returned to Amherst to get my Masters degree in Labor Studies.
I worked for the EEOC in Boston and then worked for a CETA program in Northampton for 6 years. I also drove a school bus for about a year. After the CETA program closed down, I started working for newspapers and some radio stations in Western Mass. I then moved to Maine where I worked for a newspaper and some radio stations initially. I was in the mid-coast area of Maine (Bath/Brunswick). When this didn't work out, I eventually switched to administrative work which was more stable and offered better health insurance.
I moved back to Boston in 1993 to take a job with the Boston Conservatory of Music, Theatre and Dance. I also worked for a YWCA in Cambridge, at UMass-Boston and finally went to work for Partners Healthcare at Mass. General Hospital. While there,I worked in the planning and construction office doing scheduling and tracking projects and serving as office manager, among other things.
A little more than 4 years ago, my world came crashing down when I began developing a series of medical problems, lost my job, got evicted and had to find a new place to live. During this time I also lost both my parents and my sister.
While my medical problems continue to get worse, other things have settled down a bit and I'm now living in Brookline in a great location.
Over the years I have been politically active wherever I have lived. This has been interesting and allowed me to meet a lot of fascinating people. I also enjoyed working with the newspapers because I was always learning something new.
I continue to be active politically, in spite of my ongoing medical problems and have been taking music lessons.
I would really like to touch base with a number of people and catch up on what has been going on for other people.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
