Today's Featured Biography
Deborah Allen Luskey
I married my high school sweetheart, Buddy Luskey [Class of '75] and have been happily married for 41 wonderful years, been together 43 awesome years! We have stayed in the area. We have 5 fantastic children [1 son and 4 daughters] and 10 amazing grandchildren! We have 5 grandsons and 6 granddaughters!
Our children and their family:
Mary married Jake Terrell, 4 children: Eli [14], Adah [12], Eve [7], Navah [5]
Buddy [our son] married Merri Levy, 2 sons: Tyler [9], Parker [7];
Jennifer married Adam Doyle, 3 children: Aidan [10], Emma [8], Vivienne[3].
Stephanie, 1 son, Ricky [9].
Heather, 1 daughter, Brianna [11].
In 2004, I retired from the Department of Art, University of Maryland, College Park. I was employed at the University for over 15 years. I was the Assistant to the Chair of the Art Department. I also worked with the faculty and was the Administrative Assistant for the Undergraduate Program. I really enjoyed my job, but love being retired!
Buddy and I have traveled to Oahu, Hawaii 7 times [once to The Big Island and Maui], The Bahamas [cruise] ~ we had a blast! We've also been to Wisconsin, Michigan, and ‘up and down’ the East Coast. For our 40th Wedding Anniversary, we drove to Louisiana Port of Call. We added a couple more thumb tacks in our travel map getting there, such as: Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. Our cruise took us to Belize; Cozumel; Roatan, Honduras and Costa Maya. We enjoy camping, hiking and enjoying nature. We are hoping to travel to Alaska, Canada, Caribbean and Europe.
But most of all, we love spending time with each other and our family!
