After working in residential treatment (St. John's Home in Grand Rapis)for 5 years when first graduating from Aquinas, I stayed home with my two chileren for 6 years. I have been at Kentwood Public Schools for 25 years as a high school teacher of psychology, a third grade teacher, an elementary counselor, and finally an elementary principal for the last 15 years.
My son and his wife have two boys and live in Franklin, Michigan. Both are attorneys. My daughter and her husband have two girls and live in Grand Rapids. He is an engineer in Grand Haven and she a secondary biology teacher currently staying at home.
My husband and I have been married since 1975. He is originally from Columbus, Ohio. He is retired from Grand Rapids Public Schools where he was a principal. He is also a licensed psychotherapist.
