Amy Jantovsky Clapp

I married my best friend, Jim, in 1998 and graduated from Aquinas College the following year. I then attended Michigan State University/Detroit College of Law. Hunter was born in 2001 and Emma was born 18 months later in 2002. Having two babies while attending law school forced me to take a little longer to graduate then I was planning, but I finally graduated. I passed the Michigan Bar and have been employed as the Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Mecosta County since August of 2003. In that capacity, I prosecute all adult criminal misdemeanors, juvenile deliquencies, and neglect/abuse cases. I am in the courtroom daily and enjoy every moment of it. I also am an adjunct professor for Aquinas College where I teach Constitutional Law and Politics and the Judiciary. Our third child, Ava Evelyn was born on November 10, 2006 and believe it or not,our fourth child, Sophia Clare was born on June 24, 2008. I have truly been blessed with a wonderful but busy family and career.
