Today's Featured Biography
Alton Bradley
After NBHS, I went to AB-Tech and became a paramedic working for Buncombe County EMS and left to join the new MAMA Helicopter at Mission Hospitals in 1988. I went back to school to obtain a BS in Nursing, and then a Master of Public Health degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. I am currently single, and still live in good ol' Weaverville. I'm also a new grandpa! My youngest son Ian and his wife Amber had a beautiful girl named Maeve on December 22 last year. Ian is a police officer with Woodfin and Amber is a teacher at a Christian Preschool. My oldest son Alex is a professional jazz musician, and plays trumpet locally with Empire Strikes Brass and Dirty Logic, a Steely Dan Tribute band. My daughter Erin is a junior at Ole Miss and has been on the Chancellor's List each semester. As you might guess, I am very proud of my children! They are really great kids and have achieved many things in their young lives; God has indeed blessed me with much more than I deserve. Recently, God has called me to the Ministry, and I am studying at Moody Theological Seminary where I am working toward a Master of Divinity degree. God has called me to Minister to the lost, addicted, hopeless, homeless, forgotten and imprisoned. I volunteer my time at the Veteran's Restoration Quarters through ABCCM, and will be bringing the Gospel into the Buncombe County Jail as soon as the Covid restrictions are more relaxed. I don't do Facebook, but feel free to send me an email. God's Blessings to all my old friends and families!
