Today's Featured Biography
Joseph Pappalardo
Graduated from New York University's Stern
Undergraduate School of Business in 1968. Married to Gloria Morris in 1974 in New York...conditional on having lots of children...currently, have (5)...Jennifer, Stephanie, Joey, Brandon, and Ryan.
After retiring in 1998, I served on multiple boards of Foundations/Clubs with a focus on children at risk who are challenged with the uncertainty of personal safety and security after school. I am currently on the Board of Directors for the Mardy Fish Children's Foundation in Vero Beach Fl, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Indian River County in Florida. In addition, I served as a Board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich, Ct; as a mentor/sponsor for Shepherds Inc., a Connecticut based mentoring program; a lecturer/mentor at the Alternative High School in Greenwich Ct; and a mentor for at risk children in the Greenwich Mentoring Program.
I have, also, worked at Trinity High School in
Stamford, CT as both a basketball coach and mentor...with a focus on academic achievement and character building for low-income, single parent athletes who have limited resources and wide gaps in academic performance.
