Today's Featured Biography
Karyn Leslie Haaland
I moved away from Fairport to San Francisco in 1974 and missed the opportunity to graduate from FHS, something that still makes me a bit sad 30 years later...I still have dreams about all the fun we had doing gymnastics and cheerleading. That said, I was so happy to see this web site and to have the opportunity to look at all the pictures and experience all the happy memories. I have continued to miss the many dear friends I had in Fairport.
As for history, 30 years is a long time but to those who remember me as a geek I did indeed stick with the math/science and did the BS, MS, PhD track at UCSD. Taught for a while, worked at several companies, and most recently started a company about a year ago. However, the Venture Capitalists didn't bite, so we will shortly sell ourselves. Now I'm home with some extra time with my younger children. Life is better this way.
