My life since 1954:
Subdivided into two geographical divisions
Pittsburgh, Pa. 1954-1965 - From Rayen to Shadyside Hospital Nursing School/University of Pittsburgh, graduating as a Registered Nurse in 1957. Worked as an RN in the Emergency Room and Psychiatric Ward (wouldn't you know) and at National Supply Corp as the Company Nurse at Gateway Center. In 1957, after encountering Hank at a PIKA party at Carnegie Tech, life changed abruptly for the new graduate, beginning a saga that continues to this day. In August of 1958 we were married in Youngstown with Jean Eberhart in the bridal party. In 1960 our bright and beautiful daughter, Allison, was born, followed in 1964 by the birth of our charming and athletic Henry III.
Ithaca, NY (located in upstate New York at the southern tip of Cayuga Lake, about 5.5 hours drive from Youngstown) - In early 1966, Hank accepted an exciting job at Cornell University, and we moved there for what we thought was a two year experience in building a high tech machine for the Physics Department. Here we are 38 years later as new opportunities unfolded for both of us. Once our youngest was off to school in 1970, I returned to gainful employment as a Team Leader in an Infant Development Research Program at Cornell. In 1978, I joined the Residence Life staff at Cornell as manager for a student living complex for ~1200 graduate and professional students. This diverse population included international students from 68 different countries (about 60% of those living there) and their spouses and children. So, in addition to tending to their housing needs, I provided programs aimed at these disparate cultures to keep the all family members sane & informed during their long stays at Cornell. A totally engaging and enriching program for me. In 1997, after achieving all of my goals and growing weary of the attendant problems & long hours , I retired to enjoy those other aspects of life that beckoned. In 2003, Hank retired as Vice President for all Cornell Facilities, giving us the time together to pursue those other objectives - golf, travel, exercise, and enjoying our children's families who all reside in Ithaca. For the latter reason, and because of the vast array of cultural, sports, and intellectual opportunities afforded by Cornell University, Ithaca College, and Ithaca, this will remain our home-base indefinitely.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
