Sue Collins Vandegrift-Behnke
It's been a long time since 1964. I have 2 children and 3 step children, am happily married and now retired. From Tulsa I moved to Charlotte NC, then New Orleans, then Houston. I lived in the same house for 30 years in Houston and finally moved 8 years ago. I live in the "burbs" on the NW side of Houston,in Spring. I owned a business for 15 years, sold it, and love retirement. Before that I did a variety of things, purchasing agent, VP of Marketing, Exec. Assistant. My husband works 5 days a month as a Consultant for the corporation that bought his company. We travel a great deal. We've been to every continent except Antartica and are still planning new trips. My daughter is 37 and lives in Dallas, married to a veterinarian. She has 2 step-children and Emma who is almost a year old. She works for their clinic in Carrollton but luckily can do her work from home and be a full-time mother. We are so happy to have inherited our two grandchildren from this marriage, Alyssa 13 and Drew 12. My son lives in Austin, is 40, has never married, so no children. He has a great job, a beautiful condo and loves the Austin lifestyle. He's a yuppie to the max. My step-children live in Baltimore, Dallas, and Lake Conroe Texas. Everyone is grown and my husband has 5 grandchildren we adore. I like taking pictures on our trips, decorating the house, reading, playing bridge, and doing "stuff" with my friends. I'm the group social director so we are always doing something fun. Our home is great for entertaining and my husband loves to cook, so we have people here a LOT! We are both in great health and keep extremely busy. My husband is a gym rat when he's not working and I also like working out and keeping fit. Even with that, we're still pretty "fluffy" but having a great time.
