Today's Featured Biography
Jason Reed
In a galaxy far, far away... I left the United States because I found a decent job teaching Business Communications at Keimyung Univerity in Taegu, South Korea. I was working as a caddie at Bandon Dunes and Pacific Dunes Golf Resort, on the Oregon Coast, at the time of that phone call.
If I remember correctly... It was sometime before the 2002 Korea/Japan World Cup, a good friend introduced me to a friend of his and she introduced me to a friend of hers. We met in a loud, dank underground bar that made me VERY uncomfortable: Later that night, I walked Miss So-Kyung home, under my very large, red and blue umbrella. It was a dark and stormy night. We've been together ever since.
We eventually traveled to northeastern Idaho (that's where my family is originally from and where my eventually parents retired) and got married in the same town where I born. We left the United States (after "The Honeymoon From Hell") and moved to a city in northeastern China. We've been here ever since.
That's about as vauge and to-the-point as that love-story could be told!
We are expecting our first child this Winter (end of "The Year Of The Pig" www.chinapage.com/newyear.html) and it would be a wonderful experience to someday return to eastern U.S. and show my wife (Mama Pig) and son (Baby Pig) where I spent approximately half of my life.
A couple of my brothers and a lot of friends are currently in the extended area... It would be "totally bitchin'" to see everyone in the same place, with crows feet, wrinkles and grey hair, at the same time. I'll buy a couple of New Jersey-Rolling Rock beers for the effort.
It'll probably be a tremendous effort for us to get there (40+ hours in transportation just to Pittsburgh) and I would have to buy a new camera! You have my support (US$1=RMB7.514) if y'unz need it.
I wonder who's living in Reed Manor now... Mmm... stromboli... Mmm... Pie... Cuchina...

Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
