Brenda Akens Delcomyn

I met my husband on a blind date, three months later we were married. That was thirty three years ago. I had two boys, he had three boys and he wanted a little girl... so we then had SIX boys! That has added up to fifteen granchildren.

I am a registered nurse and work for a hospice company. We stay busy with family and friends. My mother lives in Abilene (my dad died last year) so we try to go there several times a year to see her.
