Maria Ohmes Dykes
Welllll where do I begin??? HMMMMMM!
After graduating High School I started attending TJC. It didn't take me long to figure out, I wasn't ready for the college life. I took "a year off" (yea right) to figure out what I wanted to do and what I wanted to be "when I grew up" I guess I wanted to be a wife because I ended up getting married when I was 19. We moved from Tyler to Marshall (culture shock) and then to Longview. Even though we are no longer married we do have a beautiful son who is now 13 years old. I eventually did go back to TJC, received a degree there, went on to SFA for a couple of semesters but then changed to UT Tyler to finally finish my degree in eduation. I now have the perfect job (for me) I am a 3rd grade teacher in Longview, Tx and I love it!!!
Now that summer is here I am planning a trip to Canada so it looks like I will not be at the reunion. If anyone remembers me I'll miss you all lol if not, you can check out the slide show lol =)
Back from Canada...going again in about 10 days!!!! Saw it in summer and now in winter...can't wait!!! =)
