Wow! My BIO. I could go on for days… Not really, I’ll try to keep it short.
1972 PG- and attending Olympic College to get that final History class so I could graduate HS. I appreciate that you all have always included me in 1970 Reunions.
1973 Niki was born. She graduated from SKHS and BTW, sang in Highlighters for two years, same as me… with Jeff Mitchell, same as me! She lives in Las Vegas now and works online admin from home. So has been lucky during the virus.
In 1976 Kris was born. He graduated SKHS and Olympic College then began his working life at Microsoft. Lives in Las Vegas and also works online from home, as well as owns a few homes he rents out.
Lived in Olalla and raised the kids. When they both had left home, we moved to Florida in 1997 for between 3 and 4 years. Owned and operated a Gourmet Deli in Tallahassee.
The east coast is hard for west coasters to get used to. We moved to Albuquerque, NM in 2001 but jobs were scarce, so Alan finally found secure work with PGA in Las Vegas, NV. That was in 2003. We live about 50 miles SW of town in a very small (pop 2000) place called Sandy Valley.
My best friend and husband, Alan, and I have been married 34 years. I know several of you never thought I could make it with one man this long. Neither did I. But this man is like magic and I’m so grateful.
I worked in 3 different states for the dept of Elections (Florida in 2000. Really, it wasn’t my fault). Taught and toured with Asian students within Washington and actually worked as a drug and alcohol counselor for a while. I also worked as a journalist for a couple newspapers in FL and also here in NV. And have been blessed to have been published nationally.
I believe that today I have grown to be who I am because of many things I experienced in life. You all, who passed me in the halls of Givens Elementary, Marcus Whitman Jr Hi and SKHS deserve a special “Thanks” from me for being a large part of me at this time. I don’t know exactly what you all did, how you did it, but I’m happy today and that says a lot sometimes. Thank you all. Thank you for being a piece of me for all those years and molding me, just as you were molded and you molded others! We all have a lot to be proud of, and I feel I have a lot to be thankful for. So, Thank you… Each one of you.
And………… this IS short for me!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
