Phyllis Minsky Ferraresi
If you are not a fan of sarcasm, stop reading now. Ladies, I implore in the name of sisterhood, please share any remedies for night sweats! As one of the lucky ones in perimenopause, I am cursed with more frequent periods, and horrible night sweats. Men, please share any secrets on how to help your woman! My partner, John, will thank you in spades!
My life has been interesting. After graduating college, I spent my 20’s in Florida, my 30’s in Colorado, and now my 40’s are in Prairie Hell. I have traveled through Europe, South and Central America, Canada, and Puerto Rico. While in Florida and Colorado, I worked for a major military insurer and supported our troops by dating pilots from the Army, Air Force and Navy. (Anybody know a Marine Pilot? I need to date one to complete the “karmic” circle). Sitting in a Blackhawk helicopter is an extremely powerful experience. My partner of 9 years, John, is former Navy, and his government work brought us to Prairie Hell. We plan to move back to the mountains before I turn 50!!
I am all but thesis on a Masters Degree in Social Science. Perhaps someday I will finish. I currently work for a major healthcare facility in Prairie Hell. My partner has 2 daughters, Ashley 19, and Sierra 17. Since they were used to the military lifestyle, every few years the custody changed from mom to dad. I am a strict parental figure in the girls’ lives, yet I have been open about my rebellious habits when I was young. This presents an interesting dichotomy to the girls, as the oldest is as rebellious as I was at that age, and the youngest thinks I am Satan. It is interesting as their mom and I play the ‘who will screw up the girls so they need therapy when they are 30’ game. Mom is on marriage number 4, and John and I have lived in sin for over 9 years. Ah, the examples we set for our kids!!!
Enjoy the reunion. A few folks there can fill you in on more details of my life. They know who they are. Those who wrote biographies, thanks. It is great catching up.
