I went down to Scripps in Claremont, California with Bobi Rinehart in the fall of 1988 and promptly moved to Seattle a semester later. Southern California held no appeal at the time. I took a couple of years off and then started at the University of Washington in January 1991, graduating in 1995 with a degree in Comparative Literature with an emphasis in French and African American Literature with the idea that I would have a career in New York City in publishing. The dream quickly died when I found out how little pay there was to be had for the first five years in the industry, so I stayed in Seattle, working in the legal community on large medical litigation projects. I've been in the in-house legal department of Getty Images since 1999 and love it. Intellectual Property is a lot more fun than asbestos and radiation. I got married in 2001 to my long-time loverman David, a musician of course, and we live in West Seattle in a charming 1919 bungalow style home with our two kitties (I'm a professional auntie, no interest in kids for myself but love other people's). We love to travel and are always planning our next big adventure. Next year, it's Paris and Panama, 2010 will be Australia for my 40th (eek!) and 2011 will be Istanbul and back to Greece for more fun and sun on the islands. Life is good, hoping the same for everyone else from our class. Sorry to miss you all at the reunion, but work and a clinical trial commitment for an MS vaccine prevent my attendance this time around. It's official, I have brain damage, and shockingly, it's not due to those parties after graduation at Chris Knight's house. Special thanks to my main man Dr. Chris Knight for referring me to the best ever specialist who got me in a clinical trial for a potential cure immediately after diagnosis in October 2006, so I am pretty much perfect in every way on that front. Looking forward to seeing pictures of everyone. Have a great time and party like rock stars.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
