Christia Riley Ashmore
Hello Class-Mates!
Christia Riley Ashmore here. It has been 32 years since Jerry and I married, 6 months before he graduated from Ga. Tech and I graduated from Agnes Scott. Jerry co-oped for Ga.Power and then worked three years at Plant Vogtle. I worked doing children's art. We started a business three years later in 1985 just as God began our family. I have stayed home ever since though I have home-schooled many of those years. Jerry runs a concrete construction company-Ashmore Concrete Pumping. He also has other businesses that keep him busy. We had four biological children and adopted two from Ukraine last May. This was an idea from Christ as he showed us what he was doing around the world and invited us to participate. We spent 5 weeks in Ukraine going through the miracle of Adoption.
Our oldest, Jerry 111, graduated from Ga. Tech and work for Atlantic Concrete Co. Our second finished her Early childhood Care and Ed. diploma program but designs greeting cards. Alicia is our cancer survivor. Jerry and I are more in love than ever, seems the struggles of life are bring us closer. Claire is a last year at GA TECH. Bryson is a senior at Augusta Christian where he plays football.Evan and Veka start Augusta Christian tomorrow for the first time.
Things Jerry and I enjoy together:
Trips to the wine country of California
Our great church-Stevens Creek Community
Reunions with friends
Eating at Cadwalders, Bone Fish, French Market, etc.
Fishing and hunting-well, Jerry, while I enjoy the cozy lodge.
Entertaining in our home
Snow skiing or beach trips
Poarch time in front of the fire...
