Today's Featured Biography
Robin Lactaoen Lopez
I live in Carlsbad, New Mexico with my husband Robert and three kids. Sharon 16, Robert Dale 15, and Linda Kanani 13, my oldest daughter Kristina 21 was put up for adoption in Hawaii. My family and I have lived here for 15 years come this September. My husband is originally from here and we had met in Dallas, Tx were I lived with a family I moved with from Hawaii in 1985 a few months after graduation. I lived in Dallas until 1990 in September and then moved to Carlsbad. I love it here. I work at Walmart and have been there a month and 4 days. My husband works for ISD which is called Income Support Division and has been there for a year and a half. He had gotten layed off from his other job that he was with for 15 years which is WIPP (waste isolation pilot plant)and he works at walmart at night. I also switched jobs. I was working with home health care, but wasn't making as much money as I wanted to. Our children have changed since the last time I had wrote which is two years know. My oldest daughter kristina will be 22 years old in November. Our second oldest Sharon is in the 11th grade know and has become a pretty lady, she loves to draw and is in the Carlsbad High School Cavemen band, she has been playing the clarinet for four years know and loves it, she wants to go to college after high school, she can draw really good, if u give her a picture to draw she can draw it by just looking at it, we r so proud of her. She also won a plaque for writing a poem on the internet. My son is in the 9th grade at the high school and he is not into any sports or band he just loves to play a game called runescape on the internet or play games on the ps2 or gamecube, he is 6'2", he use to play soccer, but prefers not to play just at recess or with his friends. And last but not least my daughter Linda Kanani who I named after my mom whos name was kanani, but everyone calles her nani for short. Linda is also what people councider a band geek, she is also in the band, she is a 7th grader at Pr Leyva middle school. She playes the flute and loves it also, she will be marching in the parades with her sister know and is looking forward to it. Robert and I are so proud of our children, but especially how they have turned out. Well I guess I have rattled alot about my kids so it is time to go, hope all is doing fine in your lives, take care and god bless everyone..
