Lisa Engelhardt
...Well, mom said I would be a "good nurse", so I went to Luther and received a business degree in 1988. Realizing my mom was right, I went and received a nursing degree in 1990. I have worked at the Mayo Clinic for 19 years. I now work in psychiatry with kids ages 2-18. It is quiet an eye opener!
I am still single after all of these years. I am the mother of 2 canine creatures-Archie and Elmer. They are Shih Tzu's and the apple of my eye.
...Now to the Klutz part. To close family and friends, I am a walking disaster. Case in point, lets go back to October 2008. While vacationing in San Antonio, I was walking on the riverwalk. I tripped and literally went head first into the Marriott Hotel. This resulted in a fractured shoulder and an eye laceration....you thought I was pretty before? I had to have several medical personnel ambulance me out. ...you guessed it, I couldn't let an opportunity (head injury) pass me by. So, I used the alleged head injury to flirt with ambulance personnel (ie "boy do you have beautiful eyes") etc. ...they really thought I was concussed....however, my friends were able to state that was me.
