After 50 years of marriage, Ed says that he has been happily married for nine years! The nine years (6 in Naperville, IL; and 3 in Ottumwa, IA) when I had jobs as assistant superintendent of schools in those school systems and he lived in Dubuque as assistant principal at Hempstead High School. All four of our children graduated from Hempstead and from the University of Iowa. Thad is an attorney in Columbia, MO and with his wife Pam have three children--Sam (25), Sydney (23), and Sarah (21). Tim and his wife Tonya are both physicians in Mason City. They have 3 children: Luke (18), Zack (16), and Audra (14). Mollie, a Army sergeant with two deployments to Iraq as a medic, completed her doctorate in clinical psych at Florida Institute of Technology and now on staff at the V.A. Hospital in Helena, Montana. Toby and Michelle, both attorneys, are the parents of Finley, soon to be 7. They live in Glencoe, Illinois.
I finally retired after serving 12 years as superintendent at Linn-Mar School District joining Ed, who retired as AP at Hempstead in 2002.
We see the grandkids as much as possible, depending on their activity schedules. Sam works for PIMCO in California; Sydney is in grad school for Occupational Therapy in Kansas City; and Sarah is in her second year at Baylor. We also travel to Florida to spend time at our condo in Melbourne and have downsized to a condo in Marion.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
