Recruited by Ft. Logan Mental Health Center, Denver, CO, as Psychiatric Nurse; also worked as nurse at Tri-County Health Department as a Public Health Nurse and Presbyterian Hospital, Denver, CO. Also worked as a licensed real estate agent in the Denver area.
Met husband Bill at the University of Iowa where he was studying for a Master’s Degree in Economics. He had previously graduated from St. Ambrose College, Davenport, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. Married Bill in 1972 in Denver; Bill worked for the State of Colorado for 32 years, retiring as a Division Director in 2003; both of us are now retired and enjoying it. Joyful and grateful to God.
