Here's our "private" link to create requests for our DJ to play (at the Reunion). We recommend selecting most songs from our high school years, and only a couple of current tunes. The DJ will do his best to play all our requested tunes on Aug. 4th 2012 (during our Reunion reception and banquet). |

Today's Featured Biography
Laura Justin Wohlschlegel
I attended all 3 universities in Idaho and finished up at University of Idaho with a degree in Computer Science from the college of Engineering.
I met the love of my life Kevin Wohlschlegel during my first year of college and we were married during our last year of college. Six months after we were married I was diagnosed with a rare form of soft tissue sarcoma. I came very close to meeting my savior, but with determination and the love and support of my husband and family I have continued to battle and beat the reoccuring cancer most of my life.
After graduation, we moved to Silverdale, Washington across the bay from Seattle and established our lives and careers as a young couple. We purchased a 24' Bellboy cabin cruise which we moored at Keyport . We spent most of our weekends sleeping on the boat and getting up at 4am and heading out to catch silver salmon. We would catch a barely legal silver and I would head down into the galley and fry in up right out there in the Juan De Fuca or Puget Sound. No phones, tv or kids, now that was life! My husband contracted with the Navy and I worked as a computer programmer analyst until I had my 2 girls. Then I game up my career to be a stay at home mom. I always needed something else to do in addtion to raising my kids so I have always kept myself busy with a variety of other activities. I earned my real estate liscense and sold real estate for 2 years. I became involed in co-op preschool and a MOPS program for moms.
After the kids came, the boat had to go. We also decided that that the bay area was not where we wanted to raise our kids. Idaho was where our real lifestyle was. So back we came in 1995. There were so many things we couldn't do in Washington that we used to do in Idaho and we were very excited to get back to it and get our kids connected to the outdoors of Idaho. A different type of fishing, hiking away from dozens of other people, hunting without fear of getting shot and camping.
After moving to Boise, it didn't take long before I was involved again with starting up a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) program here since Boise didn't have one. Volunteering at the church and school. I was always being put with kids everywhere I went. Before I knew it, I was asked to be a substitute teacher. The thought never occured to me but after consideration it was my next step. I spent the next 5 years subbing for the Boise school district culminating with a full time sub job teaching a full year of 4th grade. What an awesome year! I put in about 60 hours a week making a measely $30 day. Kids can be the light of your life. So many fond memories of my 4th graders. Theres always those few that though make you want to pull your hair out.
At the end of the class year, my dad was diagnosed with a rare form of dimentia. Unlike Alzheimers, this affects only the frontal lobe of the brain. It changed his character. He was a changing charcater every month. Thankfully he was always gentle and never mean or violent. For the next 7 years, I spent my life helping and supporting my mom to help take care of him and spending every last minute I possible could making his life as comfortable as possible until he passed away in Jan. 2009.
