Today's Featured Biography
Leslie Perison Withoft
When you're 17 or 18 it's hard to imagine what your life is going to be like in 30 years. Never in a million years would I have guessed mine would've turned out so great!
After living in many parts of the US including Northern California, TN, and AL I settled in the Los Angeles area a little over five years ago. I have two wonderful boys from my marriage that lasted 17 years. One just moved out on his own and he's living and going to school in Berkely, CA. the other is a sophomore in High School.
I graduated from California State University, Hayward with a Business Degree and started working for Farmers in 1988. I've had several jobs within the company but started my current position shortly after moving to Southern California. I currently manage several of our major sponsorships including our Tournament of Roses program, our NASCAR sponsorship with Kasey Kahne, and our naming rights deal to build a new football stadium in downtown Los Angeles. I have lots of fun with my job as I get to travel to great places and meet some really fabulous people. I have been very lucky in my career.
Never thought of myself as a Southern California girl, but I love the weather and all the great things to do here. However, I still have roots in ID, as my brother owns a Law Practice in downtown Boise, so one day I may just come back for good. I still get nostalgic whenever I come out to visit him.
Can't wait to see everyone. Been too long. Facebook is fun, but it doesn't replace the real thing!
