Wow, where did the time go... Its hard to believe that our 20 year class reunion is in a few months. Seems like only yesterday, I rememeber dancing with Shellie Riedle on the picnic tables in Central City at Lion Park at the 10 year reunion..... LOL
Time flys!
So, long story short about me. After high school, I went to KC for 2 years, then transfered to Concordia Unversity in Chicago and graduated in 1994. After college I figured out my calling was to pursue a career in the alcohol beverage industry. (To many of you that know me, this should not be suprise!) I worked in Chicago at 2 distributorships that sold alcohol, it was a ton of fun. I then moved into the wine industry. I was hired by the Robert Mondavi Winery in Nov of 2000. I held various positions for them in Chicago and was transfered to Indiana for a couple of years and then moved back to Chicago. Robert Mondavi Winery was sold in 2005 to a huge, mega giant alcohol company called Constellation Wines US. I worked for them and was transfered down to Southern IL,(Centralia to be exact) in May of 2007. I left Constellation last year, and started a new job with Koerner Distributor in Effingham IL. I am Director of Chains for the Metro East market. I love my job and am happy to be back in Centralia. I know many of you will read this and think I am crazy....
Last year I met my future husband, Matt Grasher. We got engaged after dating for 7 months and will be married in October of 2010. It is my first marriage and his second. Currently, we do not have any children but, we do have 3 awesome dogs! Two black labs and a little brindle. I am very fortunate to have met Matthew. He is a wonderful person and I truly blessed that God put us together.
I am looking forward to the reunion. Should be a lot of fun and I hoping that everyone can make it!
