Today's Featured Biography
Pam Hascup Blegen
After years of the cold and wind in Chicago, and Iowa City, I moved SOUTH and have never returned. I first lived in Dallas for about a year and a half, and then my husband got transferred to Houston ( a week after we got back from our honeymoon). We now live in the western suburb of Katy --which is growing by leaps and bounds!
I worked part time since the kids were born teaching swimming lessons and returned full time in 2001. It was a very enjoyable job --even the part of waking up at 3:30 to get to work by 4 a.m. The best part was I was home in the afternoon to run the carpool, help with homework, and enjoy the kids & family! ( They really are great kids! )
BUT... now I have an even greater JOB!
I'm the Director of preCometitive programs. I work from home during the day, or can go into the office with the other coaches, and then I"m on deck for the afternoons afterschool. I love it and the people are great!
Although I haven't updated this page in forever ! I'm glad that this website is up. It's so hard to stay in touch with friends from Fremd when you don't live in the area anymore. I've run into people from FHS about 3 x in the last 15 years. Although, I really do think we could plan a FHS reunion here in the Houston area ( Aric, Brian, Laura Solley, Janet Gillman, and Donna Gaither [from jr. high} and i'm sure there are others too! )
As 83Administrator, for this site ( I'm a volunteer viking at heart ), please let me know what I can do to better this website for you. Im always available via email. And,if you can catch me in my bright yellow jeep, you can talk to me that way too! :)
