FIFTY YEARS IN A NUTSHELL!!! GOT MARRIED TO MARGIE IN 1959, MOVED TO SO. CAL IN 1960. WORKED AS A MEAT CUTTER AND ENJOYED THE SUN AND SURF UNTIL THE MILITARY "CALLED".
STATIONED AT FT. BRAGG NC ATTACHED TO THE 82ND AIRBOURNE, IN THE ASA (ARMY SECURITY AGENCY). CUBA HAPPENED, SENT TO MIAMI
HOMESTEAD AFB. AFTER THE MILITARY WENT HAPPILY BACK TO SO. CAL. IN 1965 ALONG CAME
OUR DAUGHTER LISA ANNE, MOTHER OF OUR THREE GRANDDAUGHTERS, WHO IS A ER NURSE IN ATLANTA
GA. THEN WE TRANSFERED TO SAN FRANCISCO
(STILL MEAT CUTTING) THEN CAME IN 1972 OUR SON JOHN WAS BORN. HE IS AN ANALYTICAL CHEMIST IN SACRAMENTO AND NEWLY MARRIED. MARGIE BECAME A FLORAL DESIGNER AND OPEN A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS IN S.F. WE LOVED CALIFORNIA AND WE BUILT BOATS (MY HOBBY!!) TRAVELED TO HAWAII SEVERAL TIMES AND TO EUROPE A COUPLE OF TIMES. I GUESS YOU COULD SAY THATS OUR SECOND HOBBY. RETIRED FROM MEAT CUTTING AND
WORKED FROM HOME DEPOT AS AN INSTRUCTOR FOR
DIY. MADE NATIONAL TV COMMERCIALS FOR THEM, ALSO HAD TV SHOW IN SAN DIEGO FOR 9 YEARS. RETIRED AGAIN 9 MILES FROM MYRTLE BEACH SC CAN'T BE FAR FROM THE OCEAN. WE JUST BUILT A HOUSE AND THINGS ARE GREAT. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING EVERYONE IN OCTOBER. UNTIL THEN.....
