Today's Featured Biography
Gail Wilhelm Wolf
Lyle and I were married in June, l965 while we were in graduate school at the University of Arizona. We lived in Des Moines, Ia. for 3 years where our two daughters, Kimberly and Jennifer were born. In l969 we decided we had enough of the cold and snow and moved to Mesa, Az. Our son Gary was born there in l971.
While in Arizona I went back to school to get my degree in nursing and worked in several areas - pediatrics, behavioral health, home health and finished up my career as a school nurse for the Mesa Schools.
Lyle and I now live in Garland, Tx. to be near our 3 married children, and most important, our 7 grandchildren.
We love to travel - went on a cruise to Alaska last summer and had a wonderful time. We just returned from a 3 wk. trip to Savannah, Orlando and Destin Beach.
I love to quilt, started many years ago, but now belong to a small group that meets every Monday for quilting and good times. There will never be enough time to do all the quilts I'd like to sew.
A lot of our spare time is spent either baby-sitting grandchildren or going to soccer games. I'm a real soccer grandma.
Would love to hear from any of you fellow quilters or fellow Texans - or anyone else.
