Today's Featured Biography
Carol Sills Hallin
After graduating from high school, I went to work at DuKane Corporation, in St. Charles in the bookkeeping department. I married my high school sweetheart, Harold in 1962. We have two daughters, Laura (1963) and Lisa (1966). During their younger years, I stayed home to raise them.
Then in 1974, I took some refresher courses at ECC and went to work at State Bank of St. Charles (now known as Harris Bank) in their accounting department . In 1976, I transferred to the installment loan department, where I was secretary and later promoted to loan officer. I was responsible for setting up the Home Equity Line of Credit for the bank. I found that to be very rewarding. I retired in 2000 after 26 years.
Eight months later, I realized I was not ready to retire, so I went to work full-time at Kane County Mutual Insurance Co. in Geneva. I retired October 31, 2013 after 13 years due to health.
Harold and I are enjoying our retirement. Both daughters live within the area with their families. We have five grandchildren which bring us much enjoyment. The youngest
granddaughter was married this past year and
it was so much fun helping with the preparation for the wedding.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
