Becky Green Adamson
Hey everyone. I can't believe how fast time goes by. It has been great to read everyones biographies and see their pictures of past and present. I have lived in Pittsburg, Kansas for the last 17 years. I married my husband Mike in 1994 and we have 4 terrific kids. Jonathan is 13, Josh is 11, Elizabeth is 6 and Jacob is 4. I went to nursing school at Pratt Community College right after high school and from there I transferred to Pittsburg State University, Go Gorillas, where I finished getting my BSN and then went on to get my MSN and become a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have been a Nurse Practitioner for 12 years now and truely love what I do. I have practiced medicine in the family practice setting, Urgent care, internal medicine, ER and inpatient hospital setting. I love helping others in need. I met my husband Mike while going to college at PSU. He is a welder/fabricator at a corporation in Pittsburg. I became Catholic when I married Mike. I love being Catholic we have a wonderful parish in Pittsburg. Our faith is the center of our family. Our children go to St. Mary's Colgan Catholic school in Pittsburg, go Panthers. Jonathan is in the 8th grade, Joshua is in the 6th grade, Elizabeth is in the 1st grade and Jacob is in Preschool. The kids are great. They all have their own special talents. I am coaching Joshua's Basketball team right now. Jon and Josh are in boyscouts together and Elizabeth is in Brownies. Thank goodness Jacob is too young to be in too many activities yet. I am hoping we can come to the reunion in May. I will try to get some pictures on the website . God bless all of you and hope to see you soon.
