Ammer Gayle Rothell Whatley
This is so exciting to have a site to keep each other updated on the happenings of our lives since High School!
I have lived in, or around Shreveport my entire life. Our family is a beautiful "blended" family consisting of the most wonderful, loving husband any woman could ever pray for,Gary, along with FARRAN-22, my olderst daughter, now a JR. attending Louisiana College in Pineville, AMMALEE-18, senior at North DeSoto HS, RUSSELL-13, 8th grade at Calvary Academy, two beautiful step daughters ALEXIS-23, Stephen F. Austin, LAURA-18, Freshman at Angelina Jr. College. Each of these children are our pride and joys.
We live on a small farm in Stonewall where we feel the air is cleaner, sun shine brighter, and the stars are brighter!
I've been an RN for 28 years, my passion and my calling. After working in Labor & Delivery for 21 yrs., then surgery for 5 yrs, I am now a Hospice RN Case Manager, where each of my patients are at their "end of life" journey. This is truly a ministry, where I pray God uses me each & every day.
I still love to sing, Gospel mostly, mixed with a little clean Country. I have a Honda Shadow 1100 (believe it or not), and enjoy riding with the Christian Motorcycle Assoc.(CMA).
As ALL of my 1977 Classmates know, we have already, or will have our big 50 birthday this year. I have plans for the first weekend in Sept. to skydive for the 1st time!! I absolutely love adventure, just so long as it's not illegal or immoral! I could say so much more, but this is probably more than enough. I look forward to reading about each of you & your lives and adventures!...AG
