Well... after BHS I spent 5 years in New York City and one summer in Florence, Italy. 4 years were spent getting my degree in Film and Television at NYU and one year was spent working odd movie jobs and getting more and more claustrophobic in the city. Finally busted out in 2001 and moved to the Seattle area. Used the move as an excuse to take an awesome road trip all over the country.
Then it was a year in Seattle working more odd jobs, including an incredible summer at a girl scout camp on the Puget Sound. Finally decided to bite the bullet and move to Los Angeles, expecting to hate it. Been in Burbank, CA for three years now and love it more every day!
I spent 2 of those years working pretty steadily on low budget films, shorts, commercials and music videos in the Art Department (props, sets, etc) and sometimes as a Script Supervisor. Decided I didn't want to work on a film set anymore and lately I have become more interested in post production and editing. I've worked on a few personal projects - the last one I did was a documentary that I filmed and edited about a man with a disease called FOP. Meanwhile, I've been doing contract work for two companies for the past year. One is an engineering software company and the other is Shout! Factory - a company that produces DVDs. My life seems to never really stay the same for more than a few months!
I spend most of my spare time watching movies, hiking, biking, camping and exploring LA.... and, of course, reminiscing about how awesome high school was...
