Today's Featured Biography
Kynelle Burns Burns-Johnson
Bedford was a different world from California, but after I graduated Bedford High School, my father retired from the Air Force and we moved to Syracuse, NY. After 5 months and 3 full time jobs there, I joined the Air Force. I've lived in Texas, Utah, South Korea, Kuwait/Iraq, Germany, Maryland and now Germany again since I've been in.
San Antonio was decent. Hot most of the time. I was there for 9 months. That was back in 2000, so I don't recall much.
Utah, Hill AFB. Rocky mountains are beautiful! Skiing was fantastic! I met my ex-husband there and we got married before we left for Korea.
Osan AB, Korea. wow! The shopping! The places to see, the hikes to take! Oh and the parties~ can't leave those out. We worked so hard over there, but we partied hard too. Some party harder than others and do things that they shouldn't, I filed for divorce over the holidays back in 2002.
When I lived in Kuwait, of course it was hotter than hell and sand as far as the eye can see. Living in tents. It really wasn't that bad. I mean it sucked, but it was something to get through, and we all made it that were there at that time.
When I lived in Europe,(divorced)I travelled like crazy! Poland, Chez, France, Belgium, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Italy and Spain. Costa Brava in LLoret de Mar (southern coast of Spain) was fantastic! Barcelona is very touristy but the beaches were great! Nothing in the world like scuba diving off of the coast of Spain! In Italy, my sister and I went to Pisa, Florence, Rome, Vatacin City, and Venice. Amsterdam, I went to the Anne Frank House, the Heineken factory, and saw Melissa in concert. Went Paragliding off the Alps in Switzerland (what a rush). Took the Gondola in Venice. Went up the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Did the Oktoberfest in Munich and the wine fest in Bad Durkheim. The best 2 years of my life!
Now that I am back in the United states, I've had my car window smashed in, my tire slashed and other fabulous "welcome home" gifts from the patriots of DC. Missed 24 hour life, air conditioning and Denny's and Walmart! =) Strange how much you take for granted until it's gone!
My son was born in Jan 2007. I can't believe he's going to be 6 next month! Kelvin and I have been dating since my son was 18 months old. We finally tied the knot on 13 Oct 2012! I am stationed back in Germany and the travelling is just the same as before. New places this time have been Luxomburg, Brugge and Greece. SO much to see in Europe!
Sorry I missed the reunion. I've never heard of the Rack, but I hear you had a great time. I'll make it to the next one! =)
Until then, I am working hard and have been asked to lead a team to Hawaii in Feb 06 and then to Okinawa in April. Of course I accepted! Two more places to put down on my list of travels!
Take care!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
