Makayla Keppel Wijeratne
Well, I graduated from SCSU in 2001 with a B.S in Social Studies, emphasis in Sociology with my teaching license for grades 7-12 which was a big mistake because there aren't many teaching jobs in MN for Social Studies. I met my husband, who is originally from Sri Lanka, while in college, and we got married in 2003. He is pretty much the entire IT department for a small company, Duet IP, in Waite Park. We had our son, Kanishka, in April of 2005 and our daughter Jayanthi in July 2007. I've had several jobs since college ranging from customer service to working in several school districts and am now currently running a business out of our home.
