20 Year Reunion Announcement!

Not many people we graduated with would remember John Shipley.Even now not many people in my everyday life know my first name is John. I still go by my middle name "Scott". My mom and my stepdad, "Dothage" divorced between our junior and senior year. Since I was never adopted, and namechanges are expensive, I have been Scott Shipley since we got out of school.
I entered the underground utility construction industry in 1990. Shauna Leddy-Evans and I married in 1992, and in 1993 my job took us to Ava Mo. in the Ozarks. Our children Rachelle, Drew, and Jonathan got to spend the most of their childhood playing in and along some of the clear streams that run through the southern part of the Mark Twain National Forrest. Shauna and I divorced in 2002. Rachelle went to Idaho, where she still lives. She came back to Mo. after she graduated from highschool, but her longing for the mountains took her back.
In 2003 I moved back to Lawson to be closer to friends and family. Jonathan,Drew,and I asked Charlotte Morse and her two sons Ethan and Gabriel to join our family in 2005. In 2006 Charlotte and I added two of my nephews, Jacob and Christian to our family. That's six boys if anybody is counting. Needless to say, we stay busy. Just ask anyone who has seen us out with all six of them at one of the many, many sporting events we attend. Those that know me know I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm lovin it!
I am a member of IBEW Local 53 and currently work for Custom Lighting Services of Kansas City as an Operator/Foreman on a directional drill crew. These people pay me to play in the dirt with thousands of dollars worth of equipment. Good thing they've never heard of Scott Dothage.
