Graduated from Cal State U/Fresno because the parchment was the safest way my advisor could get rid of me (capital punishment state). My Quantitative Methods degree, optimization statistics, was traumatically cool and I am proud to say that I never used an ounce of it in my career. In an uncharacteristic lapse of judgment on her part, I married Sue and after we used up all the high sierra backpacking and San Francisco neighborhood restaurants, we fled California seeking refugee status in Washington State.
Two kiddos, Lynn, 28, is plying her high-tech skills learned while working at IMDB across the Pacific Rim: has worked in Australia, New Zealand with Singapore on her list next. Michael is a software engineer in Seattle who composes music in his off-time. His work is contemporary which means he won’t make money at it and if you tried to dance to it you’d throw out a hip. No grandchildren that we are aware of.
Sue keeps the family honest coordinating our activities – former accountant turned software engineer, now does very sporadic part time work. She mostly focuses on finances, eldercare and plans travel… of which we do a fair amount. And is looking forward to my retirement (only a few years to go!) when we will do even more.
I’ve been in the software industry since leaving college and have worked in many Seattle area startups, mostly successful ones that get sold. Being basically lazy, I transitioned into executive mgt in the early 90s – many of you have probably used software products from companies I have worked for (when you do startups, you change jobs more often than most engineers change underwear).
I was only at BHS for 1.5 yrs, but if for some inexplicable reason you happen to remember me and want to ping me, look me up on LinkedIn.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
