I attended Pleasantville High School for two years, relocated to Cardiff, NJ, and graduated from Absegami High School in Mays Landing, NJ in 1974. I played one year on the Absegami Basketball Team. After high school I attended Atlantic Community College for one year and after working several dead end jobs I enlisted in the Marines and reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina for active duty on 29 September 1977, and graduated on 20 December 1977. I am married with four children. I retired from the Marines on 28 February 2006, as the Provost Sergeant (senior military policeman) at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, SC. I am presently working as a security clerk supervisor at the base that I retired. Additionally, I recently started my own home-based vending machine business. Life in the Carolinas has been good to me with the mild winters and an easy cost of living.
