After graduation I worked for Prudential Insurance for 2 yrs,then went to work for my Dad if you remember Century 21 Samuel Carvelli Real Estate. He grew to 13 offices and I was doing his books, so I was quite busy. Received my real estate license, started to list and sell real estate part time, I loved it. Got married to Carl,of 27 years now,(a great guy)we meant in real estate. Then I decided to go full time. Went to work for Carl in Ocean County. I did well in real estate.
After my husband sold his company we moved to Florida in 1993, we work for Keller Williams Realty now as agents and loving it, so much better then owning the business, we can come and go as we please.
I am a breast cancer survivor, I was diagnosed in 2005, went thru chemo and radiation, it changed my life. I don't work like crazy anymore,cut the hours, I smell the roses as they say. Life is too short.
I love painting with oils and pastels, it's a great hobby! Very relaxing!
We have a red mini dachshund,Hildy, she is intelligent,loving,and comical, and follows me everyway.
We love going to our house in the mountains,Blowing Rock, North Carolina, we go all seasons, I love the fall the best with the brillant colors. Hildy is a great traveler and sleeps in the back seat all 12 hrs of our car ride.
Most of the family moved to Florida, just one still up in New York, so we are blessed.
I do volunteer work, never did that in my life before, it's a wonderful rewarding thing to do, the month of December I work with "Toys for Tots" helping the families that don't have much to pick out toys for their kids,it's so much fun helping them and they get all excited and they appreciate so much.
God got me thru the difficult time in my life,and before I get out of bed each day I thank God for what I have and my health and for the people in my life. LIFE IS WONDERFUL!
