50th Reunion Follow-up! |
|
|
To all that attended the reunion, it was SO great to be together for a night or two and celebrate 50 years of living since high school! - it was obvious that we all loved our time as Bombers! Just wanted to send out a few thank you's and reminders:
First of all, Becky, Michel, Linda, and I want to thank you for honoring our work on all the past reunions and for the beautiful roses. Becky and I especially want to thank you for the exquisite crystal trophies! What a wonderful and unexpected surprise to all of us!
2. A BIG shout out to the entire reunion committee: Becky Messerli Long, Michel Bernhardt Cross, Linda Buchanan Laakman (all members of the committee for all of our past reunions), Rhonda Frank Gillikin, Nancy Pomeroy Wells, Sue Dickson Hawk, Julie Dixon Wade, Janet Campbell Greer (all members of the Decorating Committee and WOW did they do it right!), Bill Wells and Jerry Long (our wonderful hosts for the evening), and Curt Greer (for stepping up to do anything asked of him)!
3. THANK YOU to John Corbin and John Moseley for being a part of the program Saturday night and sharing their sentiments with us!
4. GRATITUDE to Monte Harmon, Dennis Gillikin (Rhonda Frank's hubby), and Larry Roach and The Blue Chair Band for sharing their amazing music with us on Friday and Saturday night!
5. REMINDER to create or keep you profile updated on www.classreport.org. This is the website we will continue to use for contact information, bios, to report deaths, class news, etc. Please let other classmates know about this website. We would love to have contact information on as many of us as possible!
6. Last but not least, THANK YOU to Gilli Girls Photography for being with us both nights of the reunion. They captured so many great moments! As soon as I receive the link to the photos, I will send to you and also post the link on Facebook.

George (Bill) Bess
Currently serving as pastor to the First Presbyterian Church in Havana, FL. Life is a hoot, and I hope to get back to MWC for the fiftieth reunion. Currently a widower, three children two living, five grandchildren, no greats, at least that are being owned. Shalom for now.
