Lenore Catalogna
I have my BA in Spanish from Moravian College and La Universidad de Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. Then, I received my Teacher Certification in the state of Pa. from Kutztown University. nextly, I reeived my Master of Education from Lehigh university in Foreign Language Education. While there, I was a Research Assistant for the Dean of Education, Dr. Perry Zirkel. My work with Perry led me to become the primary author with him and Dr. John Greene on teachers perceptions of pupils' race, published in the Journal of Negro Education.
I also spoke on it at the American Educational Research Association. Afterwards, I was the recipient of a Doctoral Fellowship from THE U.S.
Department of Education in Bilingual Educational Psychology at Temple University and the Center of Advanced Studies of Puerto Rico and the Carribean in Puerto Rico. My studies have also included courses at the Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis.
I have worked at all levels of education. However, I am happiest at colleges and universities. Between 2010-2012, I taught English As a Second Language for a company in Loja, Ecuador. My day was comprised of teaching part of the day for the company, one class at a private academy K-12, and at the Catholic University of Loja. I love to travel.
While in South America, I visited different area of Ecuador and Peru. Aside from my studies in Spain, I traveled throughout Spain, Italy, London, Paris, and Morrocco. I was on a cruise to Bermuda as well as have visited Canada and lived in other parts of the United States.
Aside from this, I have studied vocal singing, primarily of musical comedy and theatre.
