Micha Podolsky Winters

Hey everyone! After Freedom, I went to Towson State University in MD and got a B.F.A. in Dance Performance - you heard right! I have a degree in dance - something that's been very useful throughout my life! ;-) Actually, it was a great experience - I got the chance to go to Lenningrad and Moscow my Freshman year with the TSU Dance Company, among other great opportunities. I met my husband in 1991, the year before I graduated from college, and we got married in Dec. of 1992. We owned 3 gourmet coffee shops for 6 years, then sold them in 1998. I still don't drink coffee - but it was fun having the stores. We had our first child, our son Tyler, in 1995, and were blessed with 2 girls in 1998 and 2000 (Julia and Kaitlyn). I've mostly been a stay at home Mom since 1995, and love being involved in their lives (however, I DO occasionally get very frustrated! :-D). We've moved around quite a bit (easier to avoid the law that way ;-) with my husband's job at Amazon.com. We just moved back to KY this summer (2006), after 2 years in OK. I am really looking forward to our 20th reunion (we can't really be that old, can we?). I hope to see many of you there! Feel free to contact me anytime - I'd love to hear from you! [email protected]
Update - Oct. 2007 - Well, just wanted to say that I'm actually going through a divorce right now - not at all what I wanted or planned, and not what I think God's will is at all. But God has been amazing through this entire process. Actually, I've grown so much both emotionally and spiritually this past year - it's been the hardest year of my life, but I've learned so much. I'm looking forward to see what God has in store for my future.
