Today's Featured Biography
Keith Routson
After graduation from Shippensburg,I moved to Martinsville, Virginia, where I worked as a supervisor in the chemical and physical testing lab of DuPont's nylon manufacturing plant for 5 years.
I then returned to York and worked as a sales/application engineer for Trola Industries, which manufactured control panels and systems. I called on customers throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware.
We moved to Albany, New York, area in 1984,where
I worked as an instrumentation sales engineer. Job changes and transfers took us to Syracuse, New York, and Hartford, Connecticut areas, before moving to Boonville, New York in 1990. My job as a senior project manager with a local company included planning, coordinating, and monitoring major electrical construction projects around the U.S.
I started my own sales/marketing business, working from home, in 2006.
In March 2012 we moved back to Pennsylvania, and settled in the Dillsburg area, in northern York County. After working part-time for several years, I am now fully retired.
I have been married to my wife, Judy, for 34 years.
Have a daughter, Amy, from a previous marriage; 3 step-children, and 4 grandchildren.
Enjoy nature and the outdoors, reading, watching movies, and visiting family and friends in other areas of the country.
Job-related travels and our 7 week cross-country wedding trip have taken me to nearly every state in the contiguous U. S., as well as to Korea and Puerto Rico.
Now that we have returned to York County, I enjoy serving with the Class of 65 reunion committee and visiting with former classmates.
