San Antonio was my birthplace, but we lived in Cuero, Texas, until I attended James Madison and Fenwick Elementary Schools in the 5th and 6th grades. I attended Horace Mann Jr. School prior to my 4 years at Jefferson High School. My colleges were Trinity University and St. Mary's University. I spent 35 years as a teacher and administrator. Most of those years were in the Alamo Heights ISD where I taught in elementary, middle school and high school, as well as directed the District's Gifted and Talented Program. Upon retirement from public school, I served as a teacher and Associate Headmaster at San Antonio Academy, then ultimately ended my career as Principal of the Buckner Fanning Christian School at Mission Springs. It has been a wonderful profession!
George and I are blessed with 2 terrific children and 4 wonderful grandchildren. Our daughter teachers at Metro Community College in Omaha, Nebraska and our son is a pharmaceutical representative who began that career after being an officer in the Army where he served as a Special Forces Green Beret in the 101st Airborne. Three of our grandchildren are in college - Kevin (Kentucky); Wendy (U. of Alabama); and Sarah (Columbia College in Chicago). Our 4th grandchild is a Sophomore in high school in Fremont, Nebraska. We are incredibly proud of all of them.
George and I enjoy spending time at our Lake House at Lake Buchanan and we have fun playing bridge and traveling when possible. George is a very avid skiier, hiker and golfer. I spend many hours a week volunteering for the Assistance League of San Antonio, teaching a Sunday School class, serving on several non-profit boards and chairing the elementary school mentoring program for our church, First Baptist. We have definitely had a very blessed life!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
